I’ve been a freelance writer since 2009. I planned to write about history, and started a history blog called History 4 Kids. My updated blog is about writing, reading, and publishing (mostly) American history for adults, but the site will still be family friendly. I’ve written a book on America and the Holocaust, and have written for History Magazine. One of my passions is to make history interesting to people of all ages.

Another passion of mine is raising awareness about the need for better mental health care. In my work with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, I helped create and edit a variety of written material, including:

• Form letters
• Brochures
